D Stanley Chase was the son of Walter Dean Chase 1853 and Laura A Hubbard.

He lived in Maryland, Otsego County, New York all of his life. He married Eva A Magee, the daughter of Nordington L Magee and Eva Manning, in 1898.

The couple had three children.

"D. Stanley Chase, aged 71, an insurance agent in this village for over 50 years, died at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, Wednesday night, May 31, after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday. Funeral was held at his home at 3:30 p. m., Saturday, the Rev. Lynn H. Brown, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Schenevus cemetery. Mr. Chase was born April 2, 1879, in Maryland, son of Walter and Laura (Hubbard) Chase. On January 1, 1898, he married Eva Magee in Westford. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Leroy Gardner, Buffalo; and a granddaughter, Mrs. A. T. Selle, Jr., of Grand Island."
