Edmeston -
Mrs. Julia Ann Bancroft died July 27th at Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, where she had been confined for the last three weeks with a broken hip.
She was born Sept. 1, 1862 in Edmeston, daughter of Ansel and Milinda Boardman Chase. She was marries in 1890 to Elisha Bancroft, who died in 1924.
Surviving are a brother, Eri Chase, Edmeston, a grandson John Clark, Brookfield. A daughter Mildred died in 1930.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral was held on Monday, burial in Edmeston Union cemetery.
