Mrs. Julia E. Bennett
Mrs. Julia E. Bennett for many years a resident of Westville and a devoted member of the M. E. Church at the Westville Methodist Episcopal church by the Rev. Nelson B.
Ripley, her one time pastor and life long friend. He was assisted by the Rev. Walter Miller of the Westville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bennett was a devoted church member and friend, there being many left here and in Utica to mourn her loss. She was born in Tioga, N. Y., December 18, 1853. In June, 1874 she was married to Morrell C. Bennett of this village, whom she survived by over thirty years.
The nearest surviving relatives are her cousins, Mrs. Henry Barrett, Irving Hall, Mort Camp, Floyd Alfred and Seymour Camp, Mrs. Eva Wright and Mrs. Keller Clark, her much loved relatives by marriage, Mrs. L. R. VanderVeer, Elbert Coats, Mrs. M. A. Cadwell, Mrs. T. W. Russell and nieces and nephews.
Internment was in the Westville Cemetery.
