Mrs. Mildred Abbott Akers, of 1010 East State Street, died in Tompkins County Hospital.
Mrs. Akers is survived by her husband, Edward T. Akers; her stepmother, Mrs. Barbara Chase, Brewster, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Brier, Brewster, Mass.; two brothers, Ernest Chase, Greenwich, R.I. and Raymond Chase, Providence, R.I.
Funeral services will be held in the Wagner Funeral Home. The minister from St. Paul's Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
