On July 25th David Prince Chavanne went to be with the Lord in College Station, Texas. Mr. Chavanne was born on February 5th, 1947 in Houston to Harry and Hazel Chavanne.

David graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and later received a Bachelor's Degree in Business at Baylor University in 1970 and earned a Master of Theology Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1974.

David was married to his wife, Wendy in 1972 and over the course of their marriage served as Pastor of Eastridge Bible Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, Stonebriar Community Church of Frisco, Texas and Grace Bible Church of College Station. David served as the Vice President of the Oldham Little Church Foundation, was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, and sat on the board of trustees of many organizations.

He was a beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, coach, pastor, and friend.

Mr. Chavanne is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife Wendy and two sons Jonathan and Philip, his three sisters, Claire Turner, Mary Chavanne Martin, and Jeanie McGann, as well as one granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Grace Bible Church Southwood Campus in College Station on Wednesday, July 28th at 1 pm. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27th from 6 - 8 pm at the Grace Bible Church Southwood Campus.
