The death is announced of Mrs. Elizabeth CHIPMAN relict of late Chief Justice CHIPMAN. In August she waould have been 84 years of age. The deceased lady was the daughter of Henry WRIGHT, Collector at (St. John) port and sister to the late Advocate General WRIGHT and John WRIGHT, Esq.. In 1817 she was married to her late husband who was the son of Hon. Ward CHIPMAN, a Judge of the Supreme Court of this Province. Her husband died in November 1851. His mother, who was one of the HAZEN family, survived him a few months, having died in May 1852, at the age of 86. The deceased leaves no family, but a large connection of relatives. For many years the deceased lady lived a retired life at the old family homestead at the head of Chipman's Hill. - 'Globe'
