Elvira Buck, of Blooming Grove, a retired school teacher for Immaculate Conception in the Bronx, entered into rest on December 12, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital. She was 90.

The daughter of Dominick Mannacio and Angela Cilento, she was born April 27, 1917 in New York, N.Y.

Elvira taught CCD at St. Mary's Church for many years. Elvira was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was the widow of Reginald Buck.

Survivors include sons, David Buck of Monroe, Robert and wife Kathy Buck of Monroe; daughters, Julia and husband Gil Stern of Washingtonville, Christina and husband Robert Papa of White Lake, Mich.; cousins, Anthony and wife Bruna Apuzzo of Connecticut; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, December 14 at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15 at St. Mary's Church in Washingtonville.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
