Charlotte Noel Claiborne, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Lakeland, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at her home.
Visiting at Desselle Funeral Home until religious services, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Hebert. Interment in Lutheran Cemetery.
Survived by devoted longtime friends, Helen Miles and Debbie Scott and family; two sisters, Gladys Noel Wheeler, Baton Rouge, and Lillian Noel Sterling, Garyville; a brother-in-law, Alfred Sterling Sr., Garyville; and numerous devoted nieces and nephews, who were like her children.
Preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Noel; father, Edward Noel Sr.; two brothers, Joe Noel and Edward Noel Jr.; and a sister, Shirley Mae Noel.
