Myrtle Bryant, age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, May 29th, 2015, at Tennova North Knox Medical Center. She was an active member of Rocky Dale Primitive Baptist Church, where she served in numerous positions. She worked in the accounting field for over 60 years. Myrtle retired from Richard Norris Accounting Firm but had continued to work part-time in the accounting field. She was very active in many community and church activities.

She was preceded in death by husband Charles Bryant; infant daughter Wanda Ann Bryant; parents Ralph and Wanda Clapp; and sister Bobbie Clapp. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Zary Luke; grandsons Brandon Luke, First Lieutenant Jonathan Luke and wife Jennifer and Austin Luke; great grandchildren Ryan, Raelynn, Evan and Ethan Luke; brother Roy Clapp; sisters Betty Livingston and Sharon Cantrell; many nieces, nephews, and longtime dear friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rocky Dale Primitive Baptist Church, C/O 122 Westview Lane, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday with service to follow at 7:00 pm with Elder Bill Berry, Elder Glen Davis, and Elder Clyde Abbot officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 am Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and proceed to Eastview Memorial Gardens for interment at 11:00 am.
