Dorothy M. Ball, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, a homemaker, died at her home on Friday, April 5, 2002.
Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
She was born April 20, 1921, in Forest Hill, the daughter of George and Helen (Maeder) Clare. She married Robert Ball on Feb. 13, 1943, in Mt. Pleasant. He and her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Hugh (Ruth) Ball of Skandia, Benton Clare (Lana) Ball of Gladwin, and Bruce Thomas (Nancy) Ball of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mary, Robert, Melissa, Benton, Adam and Eric Ball; one great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ball; and two sisters, Barbara White of Houghton Lake and Patricia Dietemann of Fort Collins, Colo.
