Shirley Baker, 67, of Flora, IL died at 3:00 AM Monday, March 2, 2009 at her home in Flora.

She was born November 2, 1941 in Albion, IL to Charlie H. & Hula (Neaville) Clark. She married Charles Elmer Baker on June 25, 1965 in Cisne, IL.

Shirley was a homemaker, enjoyed babysitting, and was a member of Samaria Baptist Church in Albion.

She is survived by her husband: Charles Elmer Baker; son: Randall D. Baker; daughter: Martha Sue Ahlfield; five grandchildren: Christina, Zachary, Adam, Alan & Andrew; four brothers: Keith, Dale, Charles Clark, and Russell Clark; three sisters: Evelyn Compton, Mary Ellen Chalcraft, Jenny Farmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son (Charles Elmer Baker Jr.), and a sister (Linda Conover).

Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.

Burial was in Floral Garden of Memories, Flora.
