David Allen Clark, 69, of Jasper, Georgia passed away peacefully Friday, April 15, 2016 in Canton, Georgia surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret McDonald Clark; daughter, Amy Clark Devlin (Patrick); son, David Andrew (Andy) Clark; brother, Michael L. Clark and sister, Debbie Clark Waldrep; four grandchildren: Lainey Rebecca Devlin, Davis Andrew Clark, William Drew Devlin, and Hope Devlin. David was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Medford Clark and his first wife, Toni Tolbert Clark.

David was retired from Lockheed where he had a 21-year career in information technology. He previously worked at Southern Company and Grady Hospital after attending West Georgia College. David was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and was a member of First Baptist Church of Marietta.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. The Funeral Service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Marietta.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Appalachian Children’s Emergency Shelter, P.O. Box 786, Jasper, GA 30143.
