Del was born June 1, 1927, in Taylor, Idaho, the son of Frank Clark and Rosalia Lords Clark.
He married Mildred Jannings on Sept. 15, 1946, in Dillon, Mont. He spent his entire life in the Idaho Falls and Shelley area. He was a self-employed carpenter, remodeling and building new homes. He built these homes for Mildred and the family.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Jannings of Idaho Falls, and Roger (Coleen) Clark and Brent Clark, both of Shelley; many grandchildren; and siblings, Frank (Melba) Clark, Irene (Delmar) Griffith, Betty (Keith) Boulter and Vern (Pat) Clark, all of Idaho Falls, Lloyd (Arelda) Clark of Ucon and Bertha Cook of Nauvoo, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Darrell "Chet"; sister, Georganna Hymas; and brothers, Lester, Golden and Burnett Clark.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
