Henry was the 3rd known child of Absalom & Barbara Alfrey Clark. He was married in 1860 to Catherine Porter Ryan (1832-1863)- 1 dau. Mary "Mollie" McQueen (1862-1958). He married 2nd 1864 Amelia Ann Harrison (1844-1882) - 8 children: Catherine Bell Clark (1865-1880); Andrew Puckett Clark (1868-1929); Charles R. Clark (1871-1873); Arzelia Shrout Wilson (1873-1958); Samuel Tilden Clark (1876-1952); Minnie Lenora Hudson (1878-1970); Scott Henry Clark (1880-1967). He married 3rd 1887 Mary Eleanor Henry Fry (1854-1911)- 1 son: Grover Cleveland Clark (1888-1971).
