Janie Clark Aiken, 80, a resident of 10226 Boyce Road died Monday, February 22nd at her home.
A native of Vance County, the widow of Melvin Flinton Aiken Sr. and the daughter of the later Osby and Lucy Hicks Clark. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are three daughters, Virginia Martin (Ray) and Carol Bullock(David), both of Creedmoor, Marie Martin (Dennis) of Sanford, two sons, Mike Aiken (Debbie) and Melvin "Boo" Aiken(Tammy), both of Creedmoor, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A sister and six brothers preceded her in death.
