Daughter of John Clark and Elsie Monk. After graduating from Princeton High School she married Leon Bailey. While raising their children, Vona worked at Nationwide Grocery Store and as a secretary for Quoddy Lumber. As her children became older she became involved in EMS and worked for Princeton Emergency Squad and as an EMS instructor. Vona was a member of the Red Hatters, Eastern Star Royal Chapter No. 145 in Princeton, and the Princeton Rod & Gun Club. She enjoyed basket weaving, reading and gardening.
In addition to her father John Clark, Vona was predeceased by her husband Leon Bailey; and a daughter Senta Dwelley.
