Married to J.S. Bailey for 64 years. They were both ordained ministers with The 1st Church of God. They, together, founded and built the Hurricane 1st Church of God in 1950 following a tent revival She was its 1st pastor.
She was famous as a soul winner for Jesus, visiting and praying for shut-ins. She maintained an active correspondence with friends and family all of her life.
Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Clark. Her husband Jarrett Bailey, her son William J Bailey, Grandson Steve Bailey and granddaughter Misty Dawn Acklin.
