Linda K. Blankenbeckley, 64, of Firebrick, Kentucky, passed away June 10, 2014 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, Oct. 10, 1949, a daughter of the late William Edsel Clay and Mae Sexton Clay. She was a member of the South Portsmouth Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, Hal E. Blankenbeckley, two sons, Anthony Edward "Amy" Blankenbeckley of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, Hal Edward "Joanna" Blankenbeckley of Maysville, Kentucky, Step mother, Patty Clay of Firebrick, Kentucky, two sisters, Jan "Gary" Maddix of Firebrick, Kentucky, Melissa "Ralph" McClave of Grayson, Kentucky, one brother Adam "Beth" Clay of Miamisburg, Ohio, step brother John Carpenter of Firebrick, Kentucky, five grandchildren, David, Wesley, Austin, Payton and Madison. Also surviving are several co-workers at SOMC, friends, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 1 P.M. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the South Shore Church of God, second and Robbins, South Shore, Kentucky with Steve Falls, Minister, officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the South Shore Church of God, second and Robbins on Friday June 13, 2014 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Saturday.
