She was born June 6, 1938 to parents Glen and Arzella Simons Clayton. She had lived in Dayton for the past 12 years, enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.
Visitation for Mrs. Armstrong will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with interment to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Tracy Clayton and sister: Betty Cameron. She is survived by her husband of 30 years: Larry Armstrong of Dayton, her daughter: Linda Dooly & husband Robert of Dayton; her sons: Rodney Skuca of Dayton and Ray Armstrong and wife Sherri of Cleveland; step-sons: Johnny Armstrong of Dayton, Wayne Armstrong of Matagorda, Ken Armstrong & wife Kathleen of North Carolina, Martin Armstrong of North Carolina; step-daughter: Pearlie Armstrong of North Carolina and Angie Armstrong of North Carolina; 32 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
