Sandra "Sandy" Coco Bath, age 72, was born on August 18, 1941, in Moreauville, and spent most of her adult life in Houston, Texas. Sandy passed passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Sandy will be remembered by her family and her many friends as a creative and beautiful person who remained beautiful inside and out, until the day she died. She was kind, considerate, thoughtful, and an elegant and gracious hostess who often opened her home to others. But she was also courageous and strong in the face of adversity and a support to others in need. Sandy was an Avoyelles Parish Queen when she in high school. She graduated from Moreauville High School. Sandy served as Chief Operating Officer of Southwest Services, a refueling base for aircraft at Ellington Air Force Base, for eight years. She is preceded in death by her parents Lois R. and Lester J. Coco. Sandy is survived by her daughter Lisa Bath Van de Vate of Seattle, Washington; brother Carl Coco of Moreauville; grandson Mason Van de Vate of San Antonio, Texas; and one aunt, Rosemary Willis of Moreauville.
