Cody, Edward, at his residence on Saturday, Jan. 11, 1890, aged 44 yrs., corner of State and 50th sts. of acute pneumonia. He was born in Co. Kilkenny, but lived the greater part of is life in Co. Waterford. In 1865 he came to Chicago, and here he achieved quite a bit of wealth. The funeral occurred from St. Anne's Church to Calvary. He left a widow and two children.
