AUBREY D. "JACK" COLE SR.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 1994, in the Bateman Carroll Funeral chapel.
Mr. Cole died Oct. 20 at age 93.
He was born April 2, 1901, in Armour, S.D. He married Ruth Gillette in 1920.
Mr. Cole moved to Portland in 1936. He lived in Vancouver, Wash., and Troutdale. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for the Washington State Highway department and from 1941 to 1960 for Alcoa Aluminum. He retired in 1963 as a foreman for Reynolds Metals.
He married Ruby Leidecker in the early 1960s. She died in 1972. He married Jewell Noel in 1976. She died in 1986.
Survivors are his daughters, Jeanne Lawhead of Colfax, Wash., Janis Clothier of Portland and Eros Foss of Vancouver; son, Aubrey D. Jr. of Vancouver; sister, Ila Zimmer of Grants Pass; 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Private interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Remembrances: Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children or Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
