Princeton - Funeral services were to be conducted at 2pm today for Coy R. Cole, 79 year old retired farmer, who died at his home Tuesday afternoon.
Rites were to held in the chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory with the Rev. T. F. Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Born at Oakvale, he was the son of Allen and Russie Cole and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Vergie Mae Cole; fourteen children: Herman E., Bluefield; Raymond, now serving in the Navy; Bobby; C R Jr.; Mrs Alene Lawrence, Mrs Ruth Widener and Miss Peggy Cole, all of Rock; Garfield of Princeton; O. B. of Bluefield, Leonard of Simmons; Mrs. Lucille Combs and Harry Cole of Charleston, Mrs Leona Worthington, Allen Junction; and Mrs Gladys Phillips of Roanke. Other survivors are eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Ira Cunningham of Bluefield.

(2) wed Virgie Mae (Riffe) Lester. Their children were Herman Eugene; Raymond E.; Ruth Beatrice; Alene; Leona; Bobby A; Peggy Irene & Coy R. Cole Jr.
