She was born to Edward and Lora Belle (Ayers) Cole in Portland, Ore. She graduated from high school in Portland, Ore. Mrs. Butcher served in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corp. She married Floyd (Bud) Butcher in Portland in 1954. She worked for The Benson Hotel, as a clerk and maid, for 20 years before retiring in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Benjamin; sisters, Clara, Augusta and Betty.
Services: To be determined. Burial: Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. Memorial donations: Hospice of Kitsap County.
