Otto Coleman served in the U.S. Army 92nd Division in World War One.

He went to France with the 92nd Division in June 1918. They served in the front line trenches and returned home in Feb 1919.

When he died on July 26, 1925 in Chicago, IL, his death certificate stated he was a 36 year old married porter born on Jan 24, 1889 in Springfield, IL, the son of Elias Coleman and Genevieve Smith. He was married to Millie Coleman and he was buried at Lincoln Cemetery on July 29, 1925.
