Elissa Dee (Colgate) Bridges, 46, of Granby, died unexpectedly Monday, (May 27, 2002) at her home.

Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Malcolm S. and H. Erdine (Durgin) Colgate, she grew up and spent most of her life in Granby.

She leaves her two beloved sons, Charles Malcolm and Bruce Daniel Bridges; and their father, Charles R. Bridges, Jr. all of Granby; two daughters, Tina Bridges of Greenfield, MA, and Krystal Ouellette of Windsor Locks; a brother, Bruce Durgin Colgate and his wife, Nancy of Suffield; and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Josh, Kyle and Ryan. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Craig Stuart Colgate.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 31, 1 p.m. at the Granby Cemetery, Route 189, Granby. Memorial donations may be made to Farmington Valley VNA, 8 Old Mill Ln., Simsbury, CT 06070. Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
