Mrs. Clem (Virginia "Jean") Collard earned her eternal reward and passed away on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, in The Woodlands, Texas. She was 95 years old. She lived in Green Bay from her birth on August 17, 1911, until 2003 when she moved to Texas to live with her son and his family. Virginia was the daughter of Peter and Ellen (Kinney) Bell. She attended St. Patrick's Grade School and graduated from West High School in 1929. In 1934, she married Clem Collard. She was a member of St. Jude Parish, the Ladies' Altar Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She was active in the senior citizens group at the Salvation Army for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clem, in 1989, and by her son, Edward, in 1978. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Bell, and by her sister, Effie Mae Sabrowski.
