She was preceded death by her parents; six brothers, Leo, Lamar, Elliott, and Roosevelt Collier, Eugene Black, and Stanley Williams; five sisters, Juliet Collier, Katherine Moore, Rosie Lee Collier, Carolyn Young, and Sheila Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Tomie Boga; one son, Michael Collier (Ella) Indianapolis; one daughter, Mika Gordon (Harold) Chicago; three brothers, Eldridge Collier (Barbara) Chicago, Marcelus Collier, Terre Haute, and Tyrone Collier, Indianapolis; eight sisters, Cellianne Collier, Stone Mountain, Ga., Lisa Collier, Vanessa Collier, Indianapolis, Jackie Hammond (Wesley) Indianapolis, Diane Brown, Terre Haute, Marie Abraham (James) Colfax, La., Inelle Reed (Pastor Tommy) Danville, Ill., Candy Norton-Cherry, Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews and relatives; and two special friends, Beverly Dawkins and Cynthia Evans.
Services will be Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the City Worship Center, 2403 S. 8th St., with Bishop Arnick Shouse Sr. officiating. Visitation is 10 a.m. until services Saturday in the church. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. The sacred trust was given to the Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home.
