Ruth Baugh, 90, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at her residence in Bloomington.
She was born Oct. 2, 1909, in Lawrence county. Her parents were Harve and Bessie (Speer) Collier. She married Clarence Baugh. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Beavers of Columbus and Shirley Blackwell of Bloomington; two sisters, Elsie Marie McDaniel of Bloomington and Hazel Lane of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twin sons, Ralph and Raymond Baugh; and three brothers, Bruce, James and Hubert Collier.
She was a seamstress and a member of Columbus Free Methodist Church.
Pastor Charles Martin will conduct a service at 10 a.m. today at Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington. A committal service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Leesville Methodist Church. Burial will be at Leesville Cemetery.
