Mrs. Andrews was born February 14, 1922 in Pensacola, FL, and passed away July 9, 2007 in Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Collins, and a grandson, Timothy L. Shurte. She was a member of Brentwood United Pentecostal Church, and then moved to West Monroe and became a member of Living Way Apostolic Church. Mrs. Andrews was a retired operator from a manufacturing company.
She was survived by her husband, John D. Andrews; daughter, Patsy Shurte and husband, Rev. Carl Shurte; four grandchildren, Rev. Troy Shurte and wife, Kim, Marie Donaldson and husband, Rev. Shane Davidson, Leanna Padgett and husband, Randy, and Lacy Canan and husband Mark; nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Debra Collins Johnson; two brothers, Harvey Holland and wife Karen, and Dewayne Holland; sister, Edna Sanders and husband Bill; special friends whom she considered family, John and Irma Justice.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2007, from 2:30 PM until service time at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Pensacola, FL.
