A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Lucy Edwards Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red House United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Marsha (Ken) DeVore of Owenton, Suzanne Rhodus and Estelle (Danny) Cruse, both of Richmond; her grandchildren, Virginia AnneTerrill, Lesley Anne Thompson, Tina Michele Howard, and Sarah Elizabeth Rhodus; her great grandchildren, Jessica Micheal Deeter, Sarah Alexandria Howard, Edward Ryley Thompson and Danny James Burberry. She was preceded in death by Ronnie Thompson, a special grandson-in-law and also a brother James Edward Collins.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Monday at Madison County Memorial Gardens with Keith Miller officiating. Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
