Charlotte Sue Collins Allen,53, fiance of Glendale Edwards, passed Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born August 21, 1963 in Lexington, KY to the late Calvin Luke Collins and Betty Anderson Speaks. Survivors are her Mommie, Wanda Dora Ritchie Collins, her children, Ashley Brooke (April) Merritt and Bethany Camille (Josh) Velasco, three grandchildren, Hannah MaKayla Edwards, Haven Grace Edwards and Mia Gabrielle Velasco, her step father, Harold Speaks, a niece, Candace Michele Collins, one great niece and one great nephew, a special sister in law, Janet Collins and many other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gregory A. Collins. Service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Gary Dean, Richard Collins, Josh Velasco, Daniel Warren, Jerry Abner and Brent Curry. Honorary Bearers will be Kyle Pike and Charlie Fraizer Jr..
