Annelle Ferguson Comer, age 75, of Vestavia Hills, Ala., passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Comer was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Franklin, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Myrtle Ferguson.
Survivors include Mrs. Comer's husband, Harold V. Comer; a son, Kevin Comer and his wife, Donna; one daughter, Lori Mullins and her husband, Phillip; grandchildren, Hannah Mullins, and Savannah and Joseph Comer; one brother, Ronnie Ferguson and his wife, Emily; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces; countless friends and extended family.
Mrs. Comer lived in Florence from 1973 to 2003.
Services will be Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at College View Church of Christ in Florence. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with services immediately following there. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery in Florence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Funeral arrangements were made by Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Ala.
