OBITUARY OF CYNTHIA L. CONNER

Cynthia BECKNER was born Cynthia CONNER in Nebraska, January 28, 1873. She was married to William Henry BECKNER in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma in 1893. To this union six children were born. The Beckners moved to Higgins in 1904. They lived in Higgins until 1918, at which time, they moved to Wichita, Kansas.

In recent years, Mrs. BECKNER made frequent visits to her daughter's home. On her last visit, she was hospitalized at Shattuck, Oklahoma where she passed away.

Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church in Higgins. The Rev. James M. Bryant, Baptist pastor, conducted the services assisted by Rev. Robert S. Ely, Methodist pastor. Pallbearers were Lucian BYBEE, Boone TYSON, Emanuel SCHWAB, Herman KING, Russell LANDERS and Charles ORR.

Mrs. Beckner is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bertha WILSON, Higgins; three sons, Waymen BECKNER, Inglewood, California, Wallace BECKNER, Belle Plain, Kansas, and Belton BECKNER of Craig County, Oklahoma, eight sisters, one brother, five grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Two children preceded her in death.

Mrs. BECKNER was a member of the Wellington Place Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas for twenty-five years.
