Mrs. Martha Marie Connolly, 74, of 2041 E. Lawrence Ave., died at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Dirksen House.
A life-time resident of Springfield, Mrs. Connolly was the daughter of Victor and Matilda Kriech Krebs.
She married Byron F. Connolly in 1930.
Before her retirement several years ago, she was employed at Sangamo Electric.
Mrs. Connolly was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband, Byron F.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Richards of Springfield and Mrs. Cecilia H. Samonds of Dawson; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Stanley Milewski officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
