Arch D. Conway, 98, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., formerly of Johnson County, died Dec. 29, 2001.
He was a native of Coal Hill and a retired lumber estimator and teacher.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Arch D. and Barbara Conway of Big Bear Lake, Calif.; one daugher and son-in-law, Ann and Bill Wells of Orange, Calif.; one sister, Alberta Hopkins of Clarksville; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Jan. 7 at the First Presbyterian Church of San Pedro, Calif. Interment was in Green Hills Memorial Park.
