Betty Dixon Cook, 49, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2004. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Macon Memorial Park.

Ms. Cook was born on March 25, 1955 in Wilmington, Delaware to Harold H. Swyers and the late, Elizabeth A. Swyers. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ms. Cook graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in Zoology. She went on to receive her master's degree in Logistics Management from Macon State College. Ms. Cook worked on Robins Air Force Base in Civil Service as the Director of Communications and Electronics Commodity Council. She was a member of the Warner Robins Chamber of Commerce Leadership Development Program.

Survivors include, father, Harold H. Swyers, Macon; son, Christopher Michael Dixon, Warner Robins; daughter, Kelly Ann Dixon, Warner Robins; son, Justin Patrick Cook, Warner Robins; sister, Catherine Allen and brother-in-law, Rick Allen, De Pere, Wisconsin; and niece, Brandi E. Allen
