Mrs. Brasche was the former owner and operator of Humpty Dumpty Nursery and Brasche Day Care. She was a former member of Harvard Park Baptist Church, VFW Post 755 Ladies Auxiliary and AARP.
Surviving are two daughters, Pat Bea and Carolyn L. "Carol" Swettman, both of Springfield; a son, William E. of Springfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Olive Ann) Lee of Illiopolis; two brothers, Archie Cook of Illiopolis and Harry Cook of Mount Auburn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services at Staab Funeral Home, with the Rev. William E. Keep officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
