A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2004, in Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City for Bettie J. Beal, who died May 1 at age 74.

Bettie J. Cook was born Jan. 15, 1930, in Oxford, Kan., and grew up in Baker. A homemaker, she had lived in The Dalles, Salem and Oregon City. In 1999, she married Quinn.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Wardena Reed, Nadine Rants and Jeanette Nodurft; son, Bill Miller; brother, Lloyd Cook; sister, Nita Hendrickson; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Remembrances to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Crown.
