Although in failing health for some time, her death came suddenly on April 29, 1963 at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital (Campbellton, NB). Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Margaret (Walker) Cooling and William Cooling and she was born in Dawsonville on January 18, 1886. Her husband presdeceased her 19 years ago. She was a member of the Anglican Church in Dawsonville, NB. She spent the greater part of her life in Glen Levit, NB where she was well known and was a woman of sterling qualities and keen intellect, a kind and loving wife and mother. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Jean Vautour of Glen Levit, NB, 2 sons James of Glen Levit, NB and Murray of Oakville, Ontario, 1 sister Mrs. Bertha Pollock of Toronto, Ontario, 3 brothers Charles, David and James all of Dawsonville, NB, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral service was held from the home of her daughter Jean on Wednesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. B.T. Keith of Christ Anglican Church (Campbellton, NB), assisted by Rev. R.L. Stevens of St. Andrews United Church (Tide Head, NB). Interment was in Flatlands Cemetery.
