Elizabeth Cooney Funeral Rites Set
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth R. Cooney, 58, wife of W. J. Cooney, postal inspector, who died at a local hospital Monday morning, will be held at the O'Connor chapel Wednesday at 9 a.m., and at St. Ann's cathedral at 9:15. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Cooney had been in ill health since last March. She was taken to the hospital Dec. 15.
Mrs. Cooney was born Jan. 28, 1885, at Rhinelander, Wis., and was married Nov. 18, 1913, at Oshkosh, Wis. She and her husband have lived here since 1918. Mrs. Cooney was a member of St. Ann's Altar society.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Cooney is survived by her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Faust of Oshkosh; four children, Mrs. Michael A. Murphy of Helena; Mrs. John C. Lynch of Great Falls; William J. Cooney of Great Falls; and Miss Ruth Cooney of Helena; six brothers and a sister, all in Oshkosh; and two grandchildren.
