Dorothy was born Sept. 13, 1913, in Calumet, Mich., to Trivan and Anna Gustovich. Her family moved from Michigan to Butte and then later to Centerville.
Dorothy left home to work as a housekeeper for the Robert Klassner Sr. family in Stockett and then later moved to Great Falls, where she worked for the meat packing plant, Meadow Gold Creamery, the Weissman family, Don Hagen Janitorial Service at the First National Bank and several attorneys' offices.
She married David J. Cooney on July 21, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minn. They had no children. He died Feb. 28, 1989.
When she was younger, she enjoyed gardening and crocheting pillowcases and doily tablecloths.
Survivors include a brother, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Mike Gustovich, Nick Gustovich and Sam Gustovich; and her parents.
