Mrs. Anna Copley Ayscue died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at Community Memorial Healthcenter in South Hill, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, also in Warrenton.

Mrs. Ayscue, daughter of the late James Henry Copley and Bessie Whittemore Copley, was a Mecklenburg County, Va. native. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Ayscue, Sr.

Mrs. Ayscue is survived by three children, Carl B. Ayscue, Jr. and wife Nettie of Embro, Cheryl A. McMullen and husband Bill of Manson and Michele A. Perkinson and husband Tracey of Warrenton; three sisters, Karen C. Cobb and Alma C. Ostrander, both of Richmond, Va., and Shirley C. Lyles of Macon; nine grandchildren, Carl B. Ayscue III and wife Jenny, Joseph C. Ayscue and wife Christy, Fawn B. Hunt and husband Scott, David C. Jones, Benjamin M. Redman, Christopher J. Redman, Brandan L. Perkinson and wife Virginia, Erica D. Perkinson and Tiffany N. Perkinson; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Ayscue, Connor Ayscue, Cameron Ayscue, Lillian Ayscue, Kaylah Hunt, Kloey Hunt, Grace Perkinson, Ryland Perkinson and Skylar Perkinson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Norlina Christian School.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home in Warrenton.
