JUNE VIRGINIA CRAFT BLANKENSHIP

June Virginia Craft Blankenship, 87, of Mt. Holly Springs, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle, PA.

Born August 27, 1928 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Rev. David Carl and Hazel Virginia (Riggleman) Craft. She was the widow of William Robert Blankenship.

Mrs. Blankenship was a retired driving instructor and was a member of the South Columbia Baptist Church, Columbia, MD, where her nephew, Rev. Dr. Stephen Neel is pastor.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Oley Mullins and their daughter, Sharon Mullins Anderson; her elder brother, Robert Craft; her youngest brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Betty Craft; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lt. Col. Lambeth and Doris Yow.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law: Sherrill “Sheri” Blankenship Gdula and Rev. Peter M. Gdula of Mount Holly Springs, PA; her youngest sister, Betty Townsend of Ocean City, MD; her sister in law, Charlotte Craft of Pickaway, WV; step-grandchildren, Jason Genise-Gdula and Matthew Genise-Gdula; two furry grand-dogs, Lily and Sissy; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, November 19, 2015 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with her son-in-law, the Rev. Peter M. Gdula, officiating. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 20, 2015 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, VA.
