Allan J. Cram, 77, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 28, 2017. A Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A visitation will occur two hours prior from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service with burial at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Allan was born December 6, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Genevieve (Manning) Cram. He served his County in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, from 1958 to 1962. Allan was united in marriage to Patricia Burk on March 16, 2001 in Clinton, Iowa.
Allan worked for the City of Clinton, as a truck driver, for 35 years, he then worked at Allied Waste and finally worked as an attendant at Awesome Carwash on Manufacturing Drive.
Early in life, Allan loved racing cars at the area race tracks and later in life he enjoyed going to car shows and showing several of his cars, winning many trophies. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Above all he loved his family very much.
Allan is survived by his wife his wife - Patricia Cram of Clinton; one son – Michael Cram of Clinton, four daughters – Denise (Joseph) Gummo of Omaha, NE, Bobby Jo (Guy) Williamson of Preston, IA, Stacey Cram-Reimann (Jamie Taylor) of Clinton and Sandy Rae (Clayton) Lutton of Clinton; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one sister – Sally Folger of Sabula, IA; one brother – Dennis (JoAnn) Cram of Lindale, TX; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Allan in death were his parents, four sisters and two brothers.
