Charlotte West Newell Cram was the wife of Oren Cram. They were married 27 October 1831 in Peru, Clinton County, New York, and lived in Addison County, Vermont, before moving to Iowa in the 1850s.
Charlotte died in a carriage accident. Her two granddaughters, Cecelia and Elsie, also died as a result of this accident.
