NESS CITY - Anna Ruth Cranston, 82, died
Sept. 28, 1991, at Hadley Campus of Hays
Medical Center.

She was born April 21, 1909, at Elkland,
Mo., the daughter of Walter A. and Birdie
May Day Rollins.

A Ness County resident most of her life,
she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the United Methodist
Church, the Women's Christian Temperence
Union, and the United Methodist Women,
all at Bazine.

In 1928, she married Clifford C. Cranston.
He died Aug. 28,1981.

Survivors include: a brother, Ralph Rollins,
Ness City; and a sister, Verel Blaine,
Las Vegas, Nev.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at the Ness City Cemetery, Ness
City, with the Rev. Darrell Forrest presiding.
Memorials may be sent to the Kansas Heart
Association or to the Kansas Crippled
Children's Society, both in care of Fitzgerald
Funeral at Home, Ness City.
