Marilyn Berry Crichton passed away peacefully February 9, 2010.

She was born September 24, 1927 in Eureka, Kansas to Opal and Lloyd Berry.

After high school graduation, she attended Wichita State University before moving to Dallas in the late 1940s to work for Braniff Airlines.

She married John "Jack" Crichton in 1952.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jack Berry, as well as her husband.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Anne and Kyle Crews, Catherine and Craig Morris and grandchildren Cassie Cathey and husband Adam and John Morris. She is also survived by her loving sister, Virginia McCullough.

Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her top priority. She provided a beautiful and bountiful home for many memorable family gatherings throughout the years. She also loved the sport of tennis, giving many years of support to her daughters' and husband's enjoyment of the game, while also serving as a Board Member of the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation.

Marilyn and Jack were among the earliest members of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, serving as active and faithful members for over 50 years. They took great pride in the growth of PHPC in their North Dallas neighborhood.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 12 at 11 A.M. with the Reverend Blair Monie officiating in the Chapel of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road at Walnut Hill Lane.
