Miss Addie Crocheron, member of one of the city's most prominent and influential families, died at 7:30 o'clock yesterday morning after a long illness.

The funeral was held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of H.P. Crocheron, 856 Chestnut Street. The service was conducted by Rev. E.C. Scott, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. The burial was at Forrest cemetery.

Miss Crocheron is survived by her mother, Mrs. M.A. Crocheron; her sister, Miss Libbie Crocheron, and one brother, H.P. Crocheron. Misses Annette and Mabel Crocheron and Mrs. Lee Whorton are nieces and McCrea and Edwin Crocheron are nephews.

She was the daughter of the late W.A. Crocheron, Sr., who was a pioneer merchant and citizen of Wetumpka in Elmore County. She came to Gadsden in 1885 and has resided here ever since. She was a member of the Presbyterian church practically all of her life and was universally known as a consecrated Christian woman.
