Temperance (Crocker) Annable was the daughter of Nathan Crocker (born 27 April 1685 in Barnstable MA, died May 1750 in Barnstable) and Joanna Bursley (born 29 Nov. 1684 in Barnstable MA and died after May 1750, probably in Barnstable MA). Following her marriage to Joseph Annable on 31 Dec 1744 in Barnstable, they moved to East Haddam CT where all of their children were born and where Joseph died on 9 Sept 1808.
